Icon6 Joined because i need help

So a couple days ago my cousin calls me up about his ecu getting stolen. He has a 93 civic coupe automatic with a d16z6. He got a ecu from a pick n pull now this is where we know nothing. so we plugged it in and tried to start it. All we can hear is a weird clicking noise and then the starter it sounds like. please if i can get some answers on how to get it running again i would really appreciate it. Oh yeah and the pick n pull ecu came out of another 92-95 civic but it was a hatchback does that matter.

It depends. Was it manual? Was it an Si? What engine in the coupe?
