i own 07 s2k and corolla for dd. unfortunatelly my dd s getting so old (181k mileages) i wanna upgrage it with 06 up civic ex. not really sure which year i have to prefer? my budget is 15k so i can not afford 2011-12-13 i guess?

not looking something fast. just need reliable dd car. any help so appreciated

 

Just traded in my 03 civic ex 5 sp with only 75000 was a great dd and never had a problem haha. I know it's a little older but could have done wonders for you

 

If you're looking for an EX, get a 2009 or newer, as '06-'08 CAN have problems with the engine block cracking.

 

You can buy a 06-08 TSX for less than 15k. I would suggest a nav model 06-08 TSX as a DD to anybody. I have 6spd nav model TSX as a DD...my GF has a 06 SI NAV. I can tell you that the TSX is better in pretty much every way. Especially for what you're looking for.

I see 06 EX's for under $10k, BTW. I wouldn't pay anywhere near 15k for one. You can probably buy a brand new Civic for around $19k.
