Icon2 gsr brakes into 00 dx quick question

i have looked and even found the page on here to explain most of this conversion but i still have a couple questions i can not find answers for and hope someone can help me out.

The car: 00 civic dx hatch
conversion: gsr front and rear brakes

my questions are im going to upgrade the master and booster, should i go all gsr or itr on the booster and master? and will my existing lines work and line up to them? also ill be going with steel braided lines where i can, do i get the gsr ss lines or the civic dx lines? if this matters mostly a daily but will be hitting a few track days this year.

rs/ls/gsr all have the same brakes, just for the record.

you do not need to upgrade the booster on the civic. use a 98 RS master. if you want a 1" get one from any of the abs integras from 98-01. they all bolt up.

i'm not a fan of using integra knuckles on 96-00 civics.

use 99-00 si lines.

Probably because integra/"eg" knuckles are slightly different geometry. If you hold them up next to each other you will see a height difference.

On my car I used a integra brake booster and master. The lines bolted right up. Make sure and get the master that has the square reservoir. I think its 98+. I used the bigger master on the stock booster and the brakes felt like crap.

I also used civic si steel braided lines. The integra ones seemed too long.

You need Si or EX knuckles.

All 96-00 prop valves are the same afaik.

You don't NEED ex/si knuckles. Integra knuckles work just fine also. ;-)

The prop valve on the hatch is the same as the si.
