Default CV Axle issues.

I just bought a '97 Civic DX hatch with a B16A2 conversion. I have a bad CV Axle but I'm not sure what I need to do. I ordered one axle but it is smaller (length and width) than my current one and has a different amount of splines. I don't know what I should try next. Help anyone? Thanks!

The car was built in Canada as well, if that makes a difference.

Yup. You'll need an Integra axle or a 99/00 Si axle (SiR in Canada), etc.

I have a friend that is a bit more "mechanically inclined" than I am. I'm just starting out. He ordered it for me. I am thinking it was for the D series, because that is stock for the DX.

Yep, wrong axle. You want the axle for your engine/transmission, not for the body. A D series axle won't fit in a B series transmission.

That's more then likely what happened or he's just not familiar with Honda's. just go to your local parts store and say you need what ever side driveshaft for a "99 integra". ABS/NON abs is not a big deal but manual or auto is a little different you can use auto ones but it's better not to.
