Help needed combining del sol and civic coupe harnass
Hello,
I'm doing an del sol dashboard swap in my civic coupe.
The problem is that the del sol gauge is a bit different, i have both here with cables.
The original D15B7 harnas has way more connectors going to different places in the car and i kinda hate the original B7 cables because they are a mess.
The problems:
1 plug fit in the fusebox but i don't know for sure if everything is right.
2. Alarm light, heater, plugs are bit different on the del sol (most of the time the pin count is correct but smaller).
I can do two things:
Modify the cluster part of the B7 harnass (which im not going to like)
Or Modify the harnass on the fusebox side and keep the original del sol hasnas (sounds better already).
The thing is, i can replace ALL cables in the coupe for del sol, but in 2 months my AP2 cluster will be build in, so i want to make it as easy as possible for now.
I already labeled all the cables from the B7 clustor to see what need to go where.
I made pictures to tell you guys what plugs i have.
Quality might not be perfect because pics are taken with my phone and not the best light conditions.
I wonder if someone can help me, at least give me a start what is the best way to do.
Remember: i would like to use the del sol harnass and convert it so it works with the (unknown) b7 plugs (if i need all the plugins in the first place)
Small edit: Only the green plug goes in the fuse box.
All the other "unknown" plugs are just cables hanging in the car but not attached to the fuse box.

I have 2 extra cables that are not used (picture i have here) but i have cables there:
Pins that are not in use when i search for s2000 clustor swap in del sol, but i have them.
Plug A (16 pin, del sol):
Between roof and power fuse i have a blue/red cable. (pin A4)
Between power fuse and techometer i have a white/green cable (pin: A11)
Plug B (13 pin, del sol):
Between right turn signal and fuel i have a green/red cable. (pin B5)
This is what i have labeled on both gauges:
Del Sol COnnector A
1. trunk
2. rear window
3. roof
4. ??????
5. power fuse
6. cel
7. power fuse
8. engine oil pressure
9. charging light
10. power fuse
11. ??????
12. tacho meter
13.
14.
15. break light
16.
Civic Coupe connector (12 pin):
1. fuel gauge
2. speed gauge
3. right indicator
4. left indicator
5. battery
6. oil lamp
7. catallyst temp
8. rpm
9. ???????
10. ignition 12v
11. power fuse
12.
Del Sol COnnector B :
1. Left turn signal
2. hi beam light
3. right turn signal
4. ???????
5. fuel
6. vss
7. engine temp
8. ground
9. dash illimunation
10.
11.
12.
Civic Coupe connector (10 pin)
1. hi beam light
2. fuel gauge pressure
3.
4.
5. cel
6. ground
7. water temp
8. ignition 12v
9. ?????
10.
As you see in both situations i'm missing a few.
I can wait with everything till i have my S2000 clustor.. but maybe i have still problems, so i would like to get this one working before i start with the AP gauge.
I came up the following:
Del Sol 16p connector = A
Del sol 12p connector = B
Civic 12p connector = A
Civic 10p connector = B
Convert Civic Coupe 1.5 D15B7 harnass to "work" on D16Z6 del sol clustor
Pin layout is labeled as example DA1 (Del Sol, connector A, Pin 1)
DA1 -> unknown (trunk)
DA2 -> not used (rear window)
DA3 -> not used (roof)
DA4 -> ?????
DA5 -> CA11 (power fuse 15a)
DA6 -> CB5 (cel)
DA7 -> unknown (power fuse 15a)
DA8 -> unknown (engine oil pressure)
DA9 -> unknown (charging light)
DA10 -> unknown (power fuse)
DA11 -> unknown
DA12 -> CA2 (speed/tacho)
DA13 -> not in use
DA14 -> not in use
DA15 -> unknown (break light)
DA16 -> not in use
DB1 -> CA4 (left turn)
DB2 -> CB1 (hi beam)
DB3 -> CA3 (right turn)
DB4 -> ?????
DB5 -> CA1 (fuel)
DB6 -> CA2 (speed/vss)
DB7 -> CB7 (engine temp to water temp?)
DB8 -> CB6 (ground)
DB9 -> unknown (dash illimunation)
What is left:
Del sol gauge:
Connector A:
- engine oil pressure
- power fuse
- break light
- trunk
Connector B:
- dash illimunation
Civic Part:
Connector A:
- battery
- oil lamp
- catallyst temp
- rpm
- ignition 12v
Connector B:
- water temp
- ignition 12v
- fuel gauge pressure
