Default Which One?

I know you guys will steer me in the right direction. I just had my 01 saab aero totalled and need a new car. I am used to turbocharged 4cyl engines with a minimum of 200HP. I have a wife and 3 small children but still love a sporty car. When the children were babies I owned a 94 civic hatch, think DX? but we were crammed lol. insurance gave me about 5000 to purchase and I want to know what civic/accord have the sportiest options and the most powerful engines with most potential in a sedan form. I am in Canada so I know there are differences from American cars, just not too sure which? I want something That is stock fast and I can maybe just chip for more if wanted. I don't have the time to tune any more. Thanks for any help, I am sure from what I know of Honda guys, I will get lots of help. Oh ya, it has got to be manual trans, that's a given.
