Got a Question on Plug Wires?????
I just bought a Jacobs Electronics ignition from a friend. He had the system on his 97 accord non vtec. I called jacobs and asked if this system would be able to go on my GSR and the guy said yes but you would need new wires made for a gsr.
My question is why don't these wires go straight on to my car with no problems. They look like they would fit or does it have to do something with the distributor????
anyone got any answers to my question??
oh and if I do put these wires on my car, would it harm anything??????

im guessing its the design of the wire based on the different specs of the ignition system of different motors? ive always wondered the same thing too. just use the right ones... dont bother using the accord wires.

hmmm...maybe I shouldn't be using the ngks that i have on. I took my friend's 94 accord nonvtec ngk wires and they fit perfectly into my 1998 b18B. Anybody know if this is bad? I've heard that vtec wires have to go to vtec engines and nonvtec wires have to go to nonvtec engines but they can swap among themselves.
I just put the wires on my car and they fit perfectly. They feel like the seal better around the spark plugs better than the OEM wires I have. I don't think there is a difference, I mean they are just wires.
anyone else have anymore info on this????
