Default California BAR B-Series Question...

Hello, I am currently working on getting a JDM B16A in my EG BAR'd and am almost ready to get it retested after fixing all of the errors. I have a different question though and it pertains to JDM B18C motors and was wondering if someone can answer a few questions. I've done just about all of the research possible and pretty much know the essentials in getting a car BAR'd. But this is one that somewhat stumps me...

**Can a JDM B18C with a USDM P30 Intake Manifold be BAR'd as an OBD1 GSR motor assuming I will also use a stock USDM P72 ecu? Will it throw a code for the missing secondary butterflies or whatever or can those be disabled? Or would I get away smog-wise if I put in a B18 down the line even though my car is bar'd for B16?**

Thanks for your time. I would appreciate additional inputs. Although I am currently working on a B16, I would like to keep references handy for when I am ready to move on to B18.
