Icon2 new to honda. f22 build

got a 90 accord and I want to get a little more pep to it. I don't want a huge build or an expensive build. I just want a few decant bolt ons, so what would be a good start.

Just enjoy driving it. it's a single cam Accord engine, not worth modding unless you want to go turbo

This could help you find some good brands. I don't know a lot of cheap turbo options, but you can also go to Accord-specific forums, because it's pretty common.
Or there's an H swap which is the route I took, also very common, almost a direct swap, and lots of write ups everywhere.

The wiring I had someone else do, but realized how easy it is later on

was the swap worth the effort in the end, or should I try to find a turbo and build on the f22, and how is the $ amount to hp ratio difference compared between the two?

Well I'm selling it to get a stock TSX (new CRX project car/money pit) but it was worth it. "$ to hp ratio"-wise, it all depends on how patient you are when looking for good deals, if you do the labor yourself, if you have the right tools, etc.. Plus it's up to you to decide what you really want. I wanted the N/A feel (no boost), throttle response and reliability. That and my F23 committed suicide and I didn't want a single cam anymore. Turbos generally have more power/torque and can be pretty reliable if done properly.
Do some research on your own and test drive a few turbo and N/A vehicles and see which is best for you.
