Hello everyone,
I'm a little stumped on this one,
I recently finished my JDM swap into my 94 civic(EG)
(True JDM B18b with tranny). She ran great for a few months until it got cold. So now it's winter and everyday I got to start her I push the clutch in, turn the key and I get nothing. If I hold the key for about 40 sec she will start, or if I try it 4 times with few mins between each time she will start. But some times she will not start at all so I hook my truck up with jumpers and within seconds she will start. See the thing is she doesn't even try to turn over, yours no engine cranking noise at all. It's completely silent, except you hear the fuel pump prime. Then most of the time if I just hold the key on the start position for 40 seconds she starts,

Now check the battery it's good
I check the grounds their good
New spark plugs
New dizzy and timed.

Any good help with feedback would be appreciated

 

PS: no once she has started and driven for about 15 minutes. If I shut her off and go to start her a few hours later I do Not have this issue, if there has been say 10 or more hours between starts then I do have the same issue

 

Test your ignition switch and or cylinder.

 

Sound like a ignition switch problem

 

Yes, the ignition was going bad, I checked the Power and continuity. Thanks
