Default Accord f22b swap

So I've been driving my 94 Accord EX f22b1 after I installed new head gasket and radiator for about three weeks and it ran like a champ. I was purpose to sell it today until I went to start it and it cranks but won't start. Long story short, I've made a decision to get a f22b Vtec from JDMdepot. Since my car is already obd1 and a EX and the jdm f22 is a obd1 motor, will this motor simply go in without any problems, plug n play?

To answer your question, yes it is a direct swap.

However,
Why are you getting a new motor? Did you throw a rod through the block or something? Just because your engine cranks but won't start doesn't mean you replace the engine.

I would suggest that you get yourself a multimeter and a shop manual if you don't already have one. Then start doing some self diagnostic testing. It would probably end up being a lot cheaper than throwing in another engine.

Your battery could be dead or something simple in your ignition has decided to quit. $50 part vs $1000 engine!

Thanks for the reply! Well what had happen was I was trying to start it with a buddy of mine, when I told him to crank it you hear bubbling nonstop from the overflow even when you stop cranking. I'm guessing the exhaust compression is mixing with the coolant and making it bubble. I also checked timing and everything is TDC. Also I pulled the plugs and the 4th plug is dripping green coolant to me it indicated another head gasket I don't know why. Also the bleeder screw at thermostat I keep loosening to bleed the air out then air somehow gets trapped back in. I check the head bolts they all checked in at 72ft/lbs. I don't feel like doing another hg if it's going to happen again. I'm afraid the head or block/sleeves are cracked. I found the jdm f22b for 499$ so I guess it would be worth it. My question are should I switch anything over from my old motor to the jdm one.

When a head gasket goes you can't just replace the head gasket and expect it to work fine. When a head gasket goes it's cause the head or the block or both are warped. You either need to have it machined or you need to have the head heated in an oven and straightened out which is the proper way.

The head gasket might last for a few days or a couple weeks but it will give out again. The easiest thing to do is to do a compression test to be sure.

Make sure the f22b vtec is sohc vtec. Some f22b's come as dohc.
