I have an 04 crv with a bad motor I got a k24a8 to put in it when installing the intake manifold I noticed the heads were different. Will the k24a8 work in the crv? And. If it will work what would I have to do to make it work.

 

Intake manifold is different, different throttle body setup as well. The a8 had electronic throttle instead the mechanical throttle cables I believe. I'm pretty sure the electronic throttle is ECU controlled. You should be able to slap on a throttle body and intake manifold from an 07-11 Element. As for the electronic throttle, you may need the Element ECU as well. I'm not 100% sure on this, hopefully someone here has done this swap and can help you a little better.

 

Well i have all the a1 stuff but where the upper radiator hose bolts up is different i wasnt sure what to do there

 

I wasnt sure if i could use the crv intake an cut the accord one where the upper hose would be on on crv but then arrord has egr on left side of head

 

That, I do not know the answer to. Hopefully someone else can chime in.
