Im getting ready to change my clutch in my 95, and im planning on getting the flywheel resurfaced, but I was wondering if theres a way to tell if its 100% necessary?

For a better grip and proper clutch breaking get the flywheel resurfaced.

Do it right do it once!!!!

A few signs of need resurface, hot spots, groves made by rivets contact and extremely mirror finish surface(cristalizada).

Screw paying 40 bucks for a resurface. Fork out 180 and get a lightened flywheel.

Its 100% necessary because if you save the $40 and put it back together, then the clutch slips or has some other issue, its going to cost a lot more than $40 to tear it back apart and resurface it. When inspecting it, you're looking for grooving, discoloration and warping. Most of these will be minor.

Do it once, do it right.
