Default Radiator and condensor fan issues

What component links both fans together, neither will turn on. I checked he relays and fuses, check good. The upper radiator hose is extremely hot and I don't feel any coolant flow, I have a 1996 honda accord, 2.2L non v tech

Put power directly to the fan motors connectors if you just want to test the fans themselves.

However, the fan switch located at the thermostat housing actually tells the fans to turn on. You can jumper the connector to see if that switch is your issue. Obviously if the fans then turn on the issue is that that switch is bad. There should be continuity at the switch at around 190 degrees or so +- 10 degrees.

It's always best to get Honda OEM cooling system switches, thermostats. Others don't last even half as long and in the case of thermostats don't have failsafes written into them, I know this from experience from using an aftermarker thermostat that I didn't catch in time and overheated my engine before. Not worth trying to save ten bucks on something that can ruin your engine.
