hi guys, I recently change my throttle and intake and for cosmetic, I remove the looped hose from the little nipple on the thermostat housing to the intake and put plugs.

In two weeks one exploded like 6 days after put it and the other today. I've seen this made a lot of times. But you guys that made that before use any special material or just standard auto parts bypass plugs?

The little nipple in yellow and the intake manifold have another equal.

Those nipples are 5/16 hard to find this caps.

 

I'd just put it back, it's such a small out of the way hose but I suppose you could drain all the coolant pinch it then weld the end...

 

Yeah, I going to put the looped hose again for now!! I just put this thing together 2 weeks ago.

In the future I going to cut them tap and put s/s plugs.
