Icon2 1992 Honda Prelude

I have a 1992 Honda Prelude H23A DOHC 2.3 and I have been looking for a muffler, but i'm not looking for your typical loud muffler. The one on the car now is just to loud and extremely obnoxious, and a cop could hear me from 10 miles away. I want something that is quiet in city and has a little bit of a tone on highway. Any suggestions?

i had a flowmaster muffler on my 92 and as well on my 94 and i love the sound. but i also had a full exhaust system instead of just a muffler. with just a muffler on there its probably going to be raspy no matter what. you can always hop on youtube and search prelude muffler sounds and see what all pops up and what you like.

Been rocking an Apexi World Sport since 2004. The muffler is a baffled unit (as opposed to your typical N1-style that you see often) so it's anything but raspy, but audible enough around town and easy to live with on the freeway. My brother was so impressed with it he ended up buying one for his EM1.

Just don't expect any big gains as the reason why it's so quiet is the same reason why it adds so little power.

I was going to do what tkarner03 said because i have seen a vid on youtube on a 60 series on a prelude. it sounded good it wasn't loud but it wasn't quiet either it was kinda nice. I got an offer from a guy not to long ago and he was going to give me a twin loop for free. but i haven't decided yet on what i will do.

if you can get a twin loop for free go for it! even if you dont like the sound after its on then you can always sell it and buy what you really want!
