CIVIC 1987 starting problem
hi there Im new here and this is my 1st post.
I own civic 1987.one day i started my car normally.and i went for a distance of 3KM.suddenly my car stopped working.when im trying to restart the car I can hear the starter but no ignition.I removed the cover of the air filter.after i start a small white smoke comes out of the carburetor.I called a friend who i trust but sadly left the country few days ago changed the ignition coil((not brand new)) and the car started normally.
after few days at morning when im ready to go to work.the same problem occurred im starting the car but there's no ignition.I pulled of the electronic ignition candle cables used an extra cable to rub it against the car chassis while starting the engine but there is nor spark.
is the ignition coil making this problem again or what
Thanks
