Hi all ,
I'm new to Honda-tech,I just bought an AT/J30A-1 as a daily driver (low miles).I'm thinking of going with another platform MT vehicle instead of a full swap.I've read they cost upwards to about 4g-7g.From what I gathered after my rushed purchase of the AT (needed a Daily Driver) they don't take too well to turbo,but do have a costly comptech s/c you can purchase which some say isn't worth the extra money for the gains.

I have never driven an MT before so it could be a fun learning curve ,along with adding stuff to the car as I go. I want to start with something simple,since i'm not mechanically savvy. Hopefully,you've all been in my shoes at some point and can point me in the right direction.What was your first project car?

I do like JDM style so I was thinking something along those lines. Looking to drop money into it overtime and research things as I go.My goal is to beef up internals then turbocharge it. I'd like to hear your opinions!
