Auto d16 in manual shell?
Alright. Long story short, im buying a manual shell and have a auto d16 to put in. only till I get the parts together for a manual swap.
Can it even be done?? if not ill part out the shell to fund a tranny

the cost will well succeed the auto to manual ehy not just get a manual d-series tranny I see them for 80-150$ all the time heck maybe someone will give you 50$ for your auto. will it belt in yes will it work without a lot of work/hassle NO !. far far from worth it and tbh above your mechanical know how.
Dont do it. There's nothing more satisfying than the mechanical feel of placing a gear selector into gear and launching the perfect launch every time.
Or you could just get the auto and pop it into neutral at stop lights so you can roll back a little bit, and people will think you are driving a stick. #streetracerlyfe

It wont bolt in, the bracket welded to the passenger's side frame rail is different and doesn't clear the auto trans. The wiring is also not there to operate it. You can pick up a 5 speed D-series trans anywhere for next to nothing.
