Crome P28 ecu tuning with out burning chips?
ive been looking at honda ecu programs for the p28 crome/neptune/or hondata. for boosted d16z6 motor.
Im looking to get a p28 ecu and leaning towards the crome p28 ecu.
Ive downloaded the free version and it looks ok. where can i buy a p28 ecu with the program in the ecu. i searched online and it looks like i can buy a burning software separate with a USB to hook up into my laptop. the problem is that i don't want to re burn chips and re insert it in the ECU every time.
what do i need if i want the p28 ecu with the usb live programing without burning the chips with the crome program. how much usually the program costs to just live adjustments with a laptop. what do i need to run a live programing usb with crome and p28 ecu???
im also learning how to tune is it hard to do so?

Just remember that there is no datalogging with the free version of Crome. You will need a Crome Pro license in order to datalog.
I would lean more toward running a Neptune Demon for ease of installation, customer support and overall cost. www.hrtuning.com/
Crome Pro is buggy and has next to no customer support from it's creator.
FYI, the tuning part of building a boosted car is the last place you want to cheap out on! Pay the money to have it tuned or pay the money to buy the proper equipment to do it yourself. Ether that or continually blow up and rebuild engines... choice is yours where you want to spend your money and time!
You will need a Moates Ostrich to do any real time programming with on a chipped P28 using Crome. www.Moates.net

how is the hondata s300 software with the p28 ecus?
is it built in with the data logging capabilities? im thinking on getting the hondata but i have a Mac book pro i don't know if it will be compatible. will i be able to get a base map if i go with the hondata s300? do the s300 use chips if i get a basemap?
You guys rag on me for being cynical but you have to admit I have a point here, people are too lazy to do basic research...
Unless you're suddenly motivated to spend about 100 hours properly researching how this works and have a budget of at least two engine rebuilds, I'd suggest hiring a local tuner to do this for you.
FWIW, Neptune is the only Honda tuning software that's Mac compatible. It's also the best.

^x2
Mac OS = Neptune
Why would you ask me about Crome vs S300, when I already told you to go Neptune!
IMO Hondata isn't worth the money!
