Icon6 Squeaky steering

My dumb *** put brake fluid in the PS container...it ran for two weeks before I realized my mistake and drained it out. Put honda steering fluid in. Loud squeaks when turning moving less than 20 MPH. Is my power steering pump jacked up now? Anyone know where to get a used one online...don't want a salvage piece.

Thanks
mr. Dumb ***

Well. Brake fluid ruins seals in power steering systems. The squeak could be from possible seal failures in the pump and rack. Flush the system again to make sure all the brake fluid is out and try running the car again for a few days. If the squeak continues then makes sure where its coming from then replace what needs to be replaced.

If you had a leak which I would guess is the reason you had to add fluid in the first place, it was already on its way out. You could try finding and fixing said leak, then a couple drain and fills and see if that fixes it first before replacing the rack and ps pump.
