97 Civic DX Transmission issue, HELP!!!
Car runs great, it will drive less than a few miles and then........
No tranny response at all! No CEL on, turn car off and will move some then go right back to Neutral.
Checked fluid level it's good, no leaks.
Any help or ideas?

To be clear, with the transmission in gear and the clutch pedal released the car does not move? Is there any history of grinding noises or issues like that recently? If not I would say its most likely an extremely worn clutch disc.
Either way, you are going to have to drop the transmission, so get to it. When the transmission comes out, first thing you come to will be the clutch. Inspect it and see if its worn out. If not it could be a bigger issue.
*Also, while dropping the transmission, be sure to inspect the axles. It is possible that an axle slipping out of the tranny, or a faulty axle could cause this problem. However, from what you described, I highly doubt it.

I did a full soft parts rebuild. Everything within spec. Driving me nuts as this is what I do for a living and my own damn tranny is the first to flat out stump me
Transmission oil pump not flowing? meaning the torque converter probably didn't seat properly into the oil pump gear.
Hey, Lost on a Honda - it will probably takes me sometimes to replace the TCM because I need to go around the junk yard area to find the parts. But if you can try to replace it before me, please let us know if the TCM fix the issue. Also, I replaced the Automatic Transmission Solenoid but it didn't the problem.
The tcm is part of the ecu, also check the linear solenoid and shift solenoid. I notice when I had a loose connection to the linear solenoid the tranny would limp. I did throw a code though but the issue seems similar so look through the helms repair manual and look up the troubleshooting guide on there.

I'm about to throw in the towel!
