Default NPR v. RS Machine Pistons and Rings

I am in the process of doing a rebuild on my Integra GSR and throwing some oversize PR3 pistons into the block to increase the CR. Do people have a preference for one piston and ring combo compared to the other? I am most likely going to get one of the two I just do not know which one yet.

I've used both. They both work well. I like RS Machine because they are the only ones to offer 84 mm pistons with a higher compression ratio. Part quality is about the same. Both are aftermarket parts being sold as OEM replacements. Pick what you can afford.

A quick question to the OP, are you going to retune your car after changing the compression?

they both work fine as a piston. ive seen a few cases where the rings provided had gaps that were too big before filing, so another set of hastings rings had to be ordered

why are the npr cheaper then rs machines?
any way to get a sheet about the alloy used in either one?

just because they look same doesnt mean they are made from same grade aluminum

Yes I am going to tune the car to account for the increased compression and the larger cams that are going to be used.
