Default Need adjustable FPR: Will my friends B16A B&M fpr fit?

I have a d15b2 motor. My friend is willing to swap his adjustable fpr if the two are interchangable. This will be from a b16a to a d15b2 motor with MPFI. Is there any reason why this would not work?

Well, I'm pretty sure that most Honda FPRS are interchangeable. The only thing is - My D16Y8 could not use a D16A6 one - different bolt patterns, but those two SHOULD interchange

What was so different? aren't the bolts side by side? I mean one bolt on the left and one on the right respectively? Because on my motor it looks like it would fit, the only thing different is that the the bottom tube on the fpr is longer and has a 90 degree bend, plus this tube has a larger diameter than my friends Si one.

On the Y8 engine the bolts are placed slightly lower than the center of the FPR, kind of in a V configuration. In the a6/b16a the bolts are directly in line with the center of the FPR. I tried grinding an A6 FPR to fit a Y8 fuel rail but no go; wouldn't fit.

If he uses mine, will he have the same fuel pressure? He will be selling the car soon and wants to swa out his for mine. I don't want to do this if my crx Si one going to lean out his motor and destroy it.

Will be doing this in a day. Does Anyone know if the fuel pressure will be drastically different for his car that it might lean out using my crx one?

From what I hear, they're set at exactly the same pressure for those two engines.

That's good to hear. I guess I will be doing this FPR swap after all.

89_y_49. So which b&m fpr did you get for the y8? I am about to order mine and b&m says on their website it is for all civics/crx from 88-00.

Just want to make sure i get the right one.
Thanks
Steven
