THEN I INSTALLED MY OEM FLUSH MOUNT ALONG WITH SOME REAR WINDOW VISOR
NOW THIS IS THE REAR WITH THE PARTS

NEXT I INSTALLED MY LED DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS + DRL DECODER KIT

1) was a p2r tbs i know most people say its a rip off thats what i thought too until a guy that i recently met at a meet made 3hp out it lol on a dyno not much but hey anything to squeeze some hp

half hr later p2r installed

then at the same meet some was selling an injen bnib (sri and cai) for dirt cheap along with the ima cover even though i already have the ctr i bought ill probably sell it later but ima try it to see who do i like best

now i had to remove the remaining left over from the oem box (resonator)

took me nearly one hr
but its done
then i removed the factory ima cover i wanted the 1st gen (black) bought i found something better

voila
chrome injen cover i wont do it like the accord with color everywhere ima keep this one chrome and polish

:hump:

now ima stretch her legs just a bit

Got a set of Ultra Racing bars(upper, rear sway bar and else) to firm that big body a little bit, they normally come white but i think plain white would be a bit boring so i painted the upper bar anthracite grey(honda nh643-m) to match the tl wheels
oem top UR bottom

then for the others i went wild i wanted something bright so i duplicate the cusco blue by using a chrysler paint code intense blue (chr,pb3)

on a scale from 1 to 10 i would say it was a 7 since i know just enough about mechanic stuff and did it with no help but i gotta say new projects are always fun cause u get to think and to use some common sense now into pics
BEFORE

AFTER

I KINDA LIKE THAT REAR VIEW

I also took care of the interior a bit i finally got rid of my pep boys floor mats and replace them by some oem retail price $ 300 and change but got mines for 120 special hook up

before

after

TRUNK

AFTER

PACKAGE EVEN CAME WITH A SET OF LOCKS

Sold the stock wheels and got the TL type-s wheels

then i used some meguiar endurance tire gel damn this thing smell like grape fruit and 2 nice coats of wolfgang wax

so I did a slight change on the interior, Acura does offer to have the dash trim either flat grey which is standard or matte/gloss black on ebony interior but for $375 :knife: but why paying so much when i can just do it myself

so I took them to work did my little thing

liking it alot better

goes pretty well imo

I aslo recently purchased an A-spec/modulo rear bumper

I wasted no time took it to friend warehouse since work was packed and worked on it

whole thing was sanded with 3m 600 grit and I went over the whole thing with some gray scotch brite making sure i got rid of all the shiny spot then masked the area that shouldn't get painted

then applied 3 coats base House Of Kolor black crystal pearl

and 3 coats of chromapremier clear

I gotta say the modulo bumper looks so much better imo
before with the stock se bumper

then after
I really like the subtle look but yet a bit aggressive

it flows pretty well with the skirts and front bumper

lol old bumper still inside of the car

aight guys some updates
1st off I couldn't stand the chrome the door handles, they just had to go, i thought maybe the 8th accord would be an option since they look similar but no luck they dont so I went to work
1) of course the door handles were removed I then sanded them starting with 80 grit making my way all they way to 320 grit
NOW THE PICS

I then sprayed 2 medium coats of self etching primer for a good adhesion

then once it dried I sprayed 2 nice coats of high build primer then wet sanded with 400 grit

I the let it dry and then sprayed 3 nice coats of house kolor of CBP and 3 medium coats of chromapremier clear

peeping on the neighbor house

all the crap I had to put back just for 2 doors :knife:

AND THE RESULT

then things got serious
1) Mugen licence plate bolts

2)Mgen radiator cap

3)Mugen rear view mirror cover (discontinued)

4)Mugen oil cap

5) Mugen oil filter(4)

6)Mugen six speed shift ****

7)Mugen vent visor

AND LAST I COULDN'T STAND THE OVERSIZED GRILL AND THE BULKY FRONT NOT TO MANY OPTION FOR THE TSX(ACCORD) SO I WENT WITH SOMETHING MORE SUBTLE AND YET A BIT AGGRESSIVE I GOT AN AUTHENTIC AERO MUGEN FRONT BUMPER, FINDING ONE WAS A MISSION NO ONE HAD IT NOR MUGEN HAD IT IN STOCK SO AFTER A DOZEN OF EMAILS THEY SENT ME ONE NEARLY 2 MONTHS LATER:D
BUNCH OF HARDWARE AND A BILLION SCREWS LOL

wasted no time and started working on the bumper

but why not going with a clean look and just leave the mugen emblem which i think is plenty :D
yup I shaved it not even one single groove left not a single wave 100% factory looking to me

bumper got painted

I LOVE IT WHEN PAINT LOOKS LIKE GLASS AND REFLECTS EVERYTHING

BC coils installed the ride is just amazing and so smooth she takes corners like a champ, drop is about 2" all around didn't want to go to low since the mugen bumper is 1" lower then oem

took it to work and took care of some chips that were bothering me

this pic shows the damage area ( lower driver fender and hood passenger side)

crystal black pearl was sprayed to cover the areas sanded with 600 grit sand paper and a slight blend

3 medium coats of clear for a deep gloss and mirror finish

And the final result

more mugen
mugen ignition coil cover

and also now the mugen lip kit is finally completed,I just received the rear half
hope to find some time and paint it today

since the mugen front bumper comes with the fog covers in dark grey and the aero rear bumper lower portion also comes grey I wanted to do something similar with the rear half I used anthracite grey

I then with a fine line blue tape outline the area where I wanted to keep grey

then masked it prior spraying crystal black pearl

then removed it all before clearing

and for the final product

WARNING paint gloss may cause hallucination lol

did a slight mod to my trunk, cause I really like how people would come to me and ask me what kinda car it was until they see the Acura logo so I decided to shave it off

I also got an 09 bumper that needed a little bit of tlc from me no biggie though haha I got rid of the aero sport bumper cause the mugen half bumper doesn't fit

1) 2k sealer was applied on the bumper and trunk to cover my sand scratches and for an easy coverage

2) then cbp base

3) then the best part clearing, trunk reflection and no orange peel is insane

now the emblem is gone I decided this belongs there

some quick shots
my favorite part of the whole car the INTERIOR

just one bay shot

loving the rear

purchased a set of HRE 540 19''

what I like about 3 piece wheel

faces were sanded with 400 grit sand paper for paint work

then sealed to cover up all sand scratches

then base was applied

then cleared, the one on the left is unpainted and the right is freshly painted

while I was at it a also purchased brand new genuine HRE center caps since the others were a bit dented

and also decided to gold dip the bolts (thanks to ralph and hondarazor)

and for the final product

tires installed I went for a shoot

small upgrade I wanted a better braking so I ended up going with the Acura RL caliper
by far probably the best upgrade done to my car, yup FFC caliper brackets bolt right to the 2nd gen tsx
and also went with F&F type 2 coils since the bc would not go the height I wanted

and of course you already know I would put some love to them since I got a soft spot for the IS-F blue from Lexus

FFC brackets

the comparison between stock(single piston) and RL (4 pistons)

I also upgraded the brake lines while I was at it

for the final result :p

HOW SHE IS NOW 2 YEARS PUTTING IT TOGETHER RESUMED IN ONE PAGE LOL HOPE YA'LL LIKE IT
