I've had this 2000 Accord V6 from May til now and as of late, on a warm start the car will start then immediately stall. After searching (google and on here) I find that its most likely due to vapor lock, or the in the fuel rail being heated up to the point that it vaporizes and thereby creating a lean condition where there isn't enough fuel in the cylinder(s) to ignite.
I see that the TSB calls for the replacement of the ECU and fuel pressure regulator. My question is, was this issue fixed in 2001-2002, and can I just take the components off those models?
-ECU/immobilizer/ignition + FPR ?
Are there workarounds available that others may have come up with? People are apparently running colder thermostats, washer-spacing their hood, etc. to keep temps down. Additionally, there was talk of swapping fuel rail, FPR, and fuel lines from an Odyssey that fixed this issue.

Bump. Took the car out for a 30-40 mile drive. Check engine light came on, haven't pulled the code yet but will do that soon.

Checking in after a couple weeks of dealing with it. Got cylinder misfires in all the cylinders and "random misfire" codes. Does anyone have a reference for the Honda Odyssey fuel line/ fuel return swap for guidance?
I've found that if I leave the hood wide open for 30 minutes it'll be enough time as to not starve the car for gas. I'm currently considering removing hood insulation and doing a hood spacer along with a new thermostat (or colder thermostat) to temporarily alleviate the problem, but would MUCH prefer the honda odyssey fuel line swap.
