New Member, New To Hondas
Hey guys. I'm a new member to Honda-tech.com, but I'm also a newbie to Hondas in general. I've had full size pick-ups all my life, but am trading my Chevy for a 95 Accord 2-door EX 5-speed manual with the 2.2 VTEC Saturday. It's got 18" rims, has been lowered, and has a camber kit on it. I don't know what brand camber kit or how it was lowered, or how much, but I'm going to ask the owner. He had told me that he got it that way. What mods should I do to this car to make it look a little cleaner, ride better, or be a little faster? Or does anybody know any running problems with this car? I love to work on cars, and to mod them, so I'm looking forward to my first car and being apart of the Honda community.
Lots of research, read and read and read some more. Make some friends in the honda world (if you haven't already) and keep researching about your car and everything about the power train and find out everything you can about the suspension. Get bit by the honda modding but and don't look back. Btw you gotta have some thick skin and learn to not take things personal if you're gonna be apart of us. Good luck and welcome.
Thanks guys. Trust me, I've got tough skin. Believe it or not, but a lot of times guys with lowered trucks and lifted trucks fight lol. It'd be like tuners and muscle cars. It can get brutal lol.
Well, I won't lie, I got my Accord today and I absolutely love driving it. It rides smooth, is really fun to drive, and doesn't hardly drink any gas compared to my carbed 350 Chevy I traded for it lol.

The whole muscle vs import thing always got to me. Never understood why there is such a "battle". Everyone has different tastes but, all in all, we are all car people and should just get along.
One problem ive seen is, different personalities between alot of muscle and import guys. Me personally, I own, drive and race both.
