Default Anyone run the FAL windows?

How much weight do they save? What car do you have them on? Did you install them yourself?

Too expensive. I bet most of us just run Lexan (or some other shatterproof material)

Martini, my main interest is in wieght savings. I assume regular Lexan and the FAL material are similar in weight, but how much does this save over the factory glass? I'm especially interested in the rear hatch glass weight.

Yes, I beleive the FAL and Lexan are similar in weight. I didn't bother to weigh the stock hatch glass on my CRX. But I would guestimate at least 10 lbs of savings.

The lexan does scratch fairly easily if you aren't careful. I believe the FALs have some sort of protection against that, so maybe that's what you pay for.
