95 honda accord VSS replacement -- broken mounting bolts
Hi -- I was in the process of replacing my speed sensor on my 95 honda accord and both of the mounting bolts broke. The space is too tight to get the drill in to extract them.
Any good ideas on how I can extract and replace the bolts?
Thanks in advance!

now you need to take the one retaining bolt out, and remove the whole assy.
Thanks -- that's kinda what I figured. Is that pretty easy to put back together? I just want to make sure I'm not going to cause any bigger issues if I try this as a DIY...
It it as straight forward as one bolt to remove, slide it out and it should slide right back in?
Thanks in advance!

yes, one 10mm bolt. you may want to twist it back and forth before you try to pull it out.
then you should be able to work with it.

Be very careful putting that sole 10mm bolt back in. It's very very easy to over torque it and break the corner of the speed sensor gear assembly. You only need to gently torque it after putting the speed sensor gear assembly back in.
