It should "fit" but I don't think it will sit flush with the dash the way you want. Why do you want this tho the 6th gen civic's were mostly grey when it cam to the dash vs black of the 5th gens. I suppose an EL one would be black tho...

 

When I bought the car the guy didn't have the glove box installed, so ive asked him to mail the glove box cause he said he had somewhere in his garage. After a few days later he told me he lost it. So I've been searching eBay and the original one go for $70!!!!! I wouldn't pay that much for a glove box. So I searched craigslist and there's a guy parting out a 97 honda civic ex and he has a glove box available.

And Ive been putting together pieces that's been missing off the car and the glove box is the only thing I need.

You think the glove from a 97 civic ex will work right? Just won't sit flush?

 

It's looks like his interior is blue so I guess the glove will b blue? I actually need a black glove box to match my interior. If anybody sellin a black glove box to fit my 93 hatch for cheap pm me. Lol I'm not goin to pay any crazy price it's not something I need to drive the car, it's just really annoying to look at a empty space

This guy sellin the glove box is 30min from my area is the reason y I asked but it will check around some more cause he said his glove box is dark grey which won't match my black interior.

 

Also I just wanted to know what year model civic will fit my 93 hatch perfectly.

 

92-95. Anything from a 5G chassis will work.

 

No, '92 - '93 only. '94 - '95 is different. (if you live in Canada this doesn't totally apply, basically the difference is between airbag vs no airbag) '96 - '00 is totally different.

Back from the dead. I posted a wtb glove box thread and guy has a 93 black glove box but I've looked for my brackets for the glove to fit in but don't know what will fit. I've posted pics
