Hey all, my new front rotors arrived for my 93 si and they are too big! I didn't realize but I am assuming now the Dohc Vtec models came with larger front calipers. My question is can I simply order some stock Vtec calipers to fit these rotors or will the mounting holes not line up?

 

What brakes are on the car?

 

Brakes are stock 93 si 4 wheel disc brakes. The rotors that came according to the manufacturer are for VTEC model, which I mistakenly thought I had since it is a Vtec engine, and are about an inch bigger than what's on there now.

 

sounds like they sent you the wrong part. where did you buy them from ?

 

the vtec model refers to the one with the b16 (which they called an si vtec).

the calipers will not bolt up.

 

93 si 's have the smaller dx sized brakes, they sent you the 10'" integra/ex brakes

 

Ok thanks the for the help guys guess I gotta return em. Got em form powerautosport on eBay. Cross drilled slotted zincs plated, they look like good quality rotors.

 

You need Civic EX/Integra knuckles to use the Del Sol Vtec calipers (although at that point I'd use Integra calipers)

 

Stay away from that garbage!!! They are for nothing more than looks at!
