JDM H22 swap preparations - double checking
Okay, so I'm two days away from dumping my bitchy girlfriend, f22a4, and I'm hooking up with this new girl. She's foreign! Her names h22. So I'm just double checking to make sure I have it all down, and please correct me if I'm wrong at any point in this post!
My accord is an ex 5 speed, 1991 and I just bought a jdm 92-96 obd1 h22.
I know both motors are obd1, so I can reused the F's harness and wire up vtec, etc., and I bought the subharness off rywire for $50 to make that job easier. And that I'll have to swap a few sensors from the f to the h such as the egr? And a few more because the f harness won't plug up to the h's sensors male ends.
I know both motors will mount right up, and I'm reusing my F's tranny for two reasons. Boost!.. And I couldn't find a damn prelude tranny.. After I put the motor and tranny together, can I drop it in my cb without any mods to the mounting? I heard you had to make two new holes to mount the transmission, or is this just for when you drop the prelude tranny into the accord's chassis?

I think you're talking about the studs for jdm transmissions. Apparently their chassis is different so you need to move the studs to mount them in a USDM chassis. Nothing needs to be done to mount the tranny to the engine, if that's what you mean.
