Default Civic Wont start, D16Z5 swap

Hey guys, asking for a friend here.
Hes been having this problem.

The car wont start, feels like there's a grounding issue as the parking light will light up very little when turning the key, but when the light is on the fuel pump doesnt come on. But if you wiggle the key a bit sometimes you will hear the pump come on and the car will start. Only to die again after a few seconds..

He has checked, and re-soldered the Main relay.
Battery ground and Thermostat housing ground has been cleaned and checked.

Another thing is the ecu will stay on and blink even after taking the key out of the ignition? only after a few minutes you will hear a click in some relay ( dont know which ) and after that it shuts off.

Now i told him to count the blinks from the ecu, will know which codes its throwing tomorrow.

im starting to think maybe it could be the ignition switch?

anyways is there anyone that has come across this issue before?

and yes the car has worked perfectly fine for a couple of months before this happened!

Thanks in advance

I would check/clean your grounds, especially the thermostat one. Then it seems like the ignition switch mine would start then die once I let go off the key.
