Hi from Australia
Hi, just bought a 95 EG6, I have already had to use the forums for my backlight on the gauge cluster, so thanks for that. Hopefully tomorrow I can see if the issue can be fixed with the paper clip or replacing the fuse. I bought the car for 1,200$ 197,000 Km's on the dash. I honestly think I got a steal as the car was garage kept, had one owner and serviced every 3,000 K's. When I got the car home i checked the oil and it looked as if I had just poured it in 5 minutes ago. The clutch is a little squishy, but grabs strong, so i think mabey i can look through the forums and see if i can change the engage point. ( no clue what its called technically ) This is going to be my daily driver but I am looking to do a swap later on down the road, coilovers, exhaust and rim and tyre. I'm not entirely sure how the gauge clusters for these are but one of the first things i would like to do is get info on finding a replacement gauge cluster with an rpm meter, mainly for later modification. i.e. different power plant.
p.s. I'm not into the flashy Ricecar look which is why i want to find a replacement cluster and not just add the F&F auto meter 12 inch RPM dial with the huge orange flashing rice bulb hanging outside of my drivers door for the world to see.
