Default 98 Accord No fire/blow HG

SCROLL DOWN TO SKIP THE STORY.

Ok, My cuzzin just sold me a 98 Honda accord 4cyl Auto i came in helped him diagnose the problem 5 months ago when he over heated the car, their was no compression in two cylinders and water coming out muffler BAD,well i bought it and about to pull the head but he lost the keys we had a locksmith come and make us a key the Green light key on dash does not blink with the new key so i beleve he did it right, but when he was here it wouldnt turn over the motor seemed locked, i put a little ATF inthe cylnders and broke loose with my breaker bar. but now its not getting ANY fire, i pulled cap off im getting no spark,i checked power im getting two grounds and one constant 12v and one wire notthing i beleve the pure yellow wire..

Should the wire harness going into the distrutor have one constant 12v with key on 2 grounds and one yellow wire have no power?

What all should i check for no fire in this kind of car, cam, crank sensors? where.

THANKS FOR ANY INPUT GUYS THANKS ALOT!!!

The green immobilizer light should flash when the key is inserted and removed. It flashes 5 or 6 times. This lets you know that it detects the chip in the key. I'm pretty sure you can only get those programmed from Honda. I'd get the proper key before I start ripping stuff apart.

I don't drive an Accord but I would assume the immobilizer behaves the same way across all Honda's. When I go out today, I'll tell you how the green light behaves on my 2002 CR-V and that should give you a better idea if what you should see for light flashes.

the key is good, the main relay i seen a small crack in board so im replacing it. i got no power to my injectors, i have 12v to my ignition coil,12v in two spots of the igniter, but when turning over its not firing.

the ignition coil does work because i touched my probe to one of the wires on the igniter and the coil sparked hell out of me.

so im buying a new dizzy and main relay see what happens ill report back..

Thanks guys,

Just for the reply about the immobilizer. Here is how it should behave:

Key turned to the on position, green immobilizer key light comes on for 3 seconds and goes out.

When vehicle is shut off, the light flashes 5 times.

I assume the accord works the same way. I would imagine the immobilizer technology is the same as my 2002 CR-V.

Figured it out after all day of trouble shooting and checking wires, relays, grounds and fuses lol.

The problem was, No Spark and Main Relay was Not Clicking nor was CEL..but power was going to ignition coil but no signal, when cranking, power to my ignitor New Main Relay. No spark and injectors had no Power....

I Replaced Distributor and everything good now Besides the Blown Head Gasket, Just in case someone else has same issue later on.
