now to my question so I was wondering whats connected the mass air sensor I know what it does but is it supposed to look like this? The endings of both rubber tubes have bolts inside. Thanks!

 

EM1s don't have a mass air flow sensor nor do any 4 cyl hondas of that vintage.

 

Really? Then whats that little black box then? All is says is denso made in japan?

 

Charcoal canister....it's an emissions control item, and they're MAP sensors on our cars.

 

If I'd had a MAF sensor, you couldn't possibly miss it.

 

To elaborate: MAF's are huge sensors and are in-line with the air intake tube and are the same size (or larger) than the air intake tube.
