Default B16a .06 milled off head question about advance cam gears/checking p2v & v2v ITR SPEC

What's up ht I just got my head back from the machine shop the other day my machinist told me everything was straight the port work looked to be that of a professional & along with the 5 angle valve job he gave me told me this head is ready to flow, going on a stock block pr3 b16 my machinist told me my head seemed to be milled about .055-.06 & I am planning on running a Buddyclub 2 layer headgasket more compression the better I'm lookin to run the limit of 91 octane. I was wondering if what' I was told was correct for every .012 shaved off the head advance BOTH gears +1, does this include the space taken off from the thinner headgasket. To check v2v from what I understand I put the head on a workbench with an old timing belt and set my cam gears to desired settings & see if they make contact which I'm guessing if what I was told right is +5 +5, I'm running ITR camshafts/Valvetrain, what's the easiest way to check p2v old headgasket w/ clay? Anyone have any good threads on claying a motor zeal c/r calculator has me at 12.6:1 at stock 1.6 bore

it would depend on if the markings on your cam gears are in crank degrees or cam degrees. because some are one, some are the other.
to determine properly, find the circumference of your cam gears in inches. then if your cam gear marks are in cam degrees, divide the circumference by 360. if they are in crank degrees, divide the number by 720. and that number will be the amount you use per cam gear adjustment to compensate to get back to stock cam timing. this of course is only applicable to using stock cams in the head and block of the same exact type of motor that the cams originally came in, because aftermarket cams are all always different, which is why they include charts for how to properly degree the cams, because the timing on them is almost never 100% accurate. and cams from one motor will often be timed slightly differently when installed in the head of a different motor, or if the cams and head match but are installed on the block of a different motor.

ie: my cam gears are 12.57" circumference, which equates to 0.035" per cam degree or 0.0175" per crank degree.

Still haven't started this up, been trying to get ahold of some feeler gauges really need this car running ASAP anybody have a b16a with shaved head pr3 pistons 01 itr cams. Would I be able to get off just by checking v2v with an old timing belt holding the gears & locking vtec & turning it over on a work bench. Buddyclub cam gears

milled 0.060"?? Are you sure that is correct? get a thicker head gasket, is b16s especially run the risk of valve to piston contact. In my experience unless you notched the hell out of your pistons valve reliefs you have a bad recipe there.
