EF Civic Hatch - Trasmission will not shift
91 Civic DX Hatch unmolested.
D15 engine
5-speed
Chain of events as follows:
-Picked up a 91 Hatch
-Replaced the CV shafts
-Car was vibrating pretty bad
-looked into replacing motor mounts
-discovered that the front motor mount was MIA
-Discovered the brand new driver side CV boot was wadded up and the CV was broken.
-installed new MM
-Installed new CV
-Test drive went famously!
-Shifted through all gears(including reverse) No issues
-come to complete stop...will not shift into any gear.
Any gear it feels like neutral.
car can be shifted without the clutch being pressed down
no debris in the clutch cover
At a bit of a loss........
Help me out guys!

Anybody?
I will be pulling the transmission out tomorrow.
I have been told the possibility of broken throwout bearing, snapped output shaft, or snapped shift rod

1. Check axles
2. Check shifter linkage
3. Check clutch cable again
4. Pull transmission
I've had issues with aftermarket axles feeling like they clicked into the trans when they really didn't. Put front end on jack stands. Take bolt out of the lower control arm at the chassis end, don't mess with the ball joint end. Take bolts out holding the tie rod to LCA. I usually pull the spindle away from the car ever so slightly, then shove it back towards the car with the force of a thousand suns. If it doesn't click in, check the snap ring on the end of the axle and try again.
