guys does coilovers made for a civic EG fit on an EF ? if yes what is the "disadvantage" of buying EG coilovers ? and what should i change to make them fit ? will they effect the drop as in it wont go low as ones made for an EF ?

 

You will need the eg forks.

 

and rear LCAs aswell i guess

 

No disadvantages. Just the different forks. Double check in the rear LCA. I think the EK is the only one with a different LCA. You might be good.

and if the car in your garage is a 90, you'll be fine. only year ef's you have to worry is the 88's. ek's are little different, but nothing a washer couldn't help. other then that, no other advantages or disadvantage.

 

I asked because some say they wont as low as one made for am ef, i mean, an ef with eg coils at full drop will not be low as an ef with coils made specifically for an ef, and tbh low is what im aiming for

 

You wont be able to go as low with eg/dc coilovers. If slamming your car is what you want, then just buy the correct coilovers for you car.
