Hi all,
I have a 2003 Accord EX 2dr Coupe with a 4cyl engine and an automatic transmission. My passenger side window no longer works and I have been told by a mechanic that I need to replace my window regulator and motor. His parts quote seemed a bit high($158 w/tax;135$labor) to me, so I went shopping around and came back with this OE part #72250SDNA03. Is this the correct part # for what I need? I'm sure any of those will be fine. I personally like tyc or dorman but that is me.

Not too bad of a DIY job. Remove the door panel - might break a clip or two so you can either buy a few before or replace later if you do. I think dorman sells a kit that comes with all new clips for ~$10?

Getting the old one out might be a bit fun, depends on how and where the old one died.....from there just take your time and you should be fine.

 

I just went with the cheapest option(jcwhitney). I was thinking of doing it on my own, but I'm hesitant to try as I'm not exactly skilled around a car. I was looking on youtube and 1a auto has instructional videos on this exact topic for accords ,unfortunately these guides cover years prior to my model year.

 

The motor/regulator assemblies all work the same way. The only real difference would be how the door cover comes off but, even there they are all very similar.

 

My part shipped very quickly and is likely coming in today. I'll download one of the videos and see how it compares to a pdf guide that I found for my model year.
