I have to sell my GSR due to insurance premiums, they are 500% of the rates on my civic, so im just gonna off it and swap the motor, but i was just curious!

mine sucks donkeys.

i had a 93 hatch with JDM R swap and insurance was super low... but it sucked cuz if it got hit or stolen i'd get no money back. so i got a car with more value... only i had to pick the most commonly stolen vehicle in america i'm not under my parents.... i'm on my own, i'm 23 in a month, its a teg. the worst combination possible.

that being said, my comprehensive coverage is $1455/6 months. ouch.

 

I am 19 years old.. no accidents, no tickets... good student (my insurance gives me a discount).. but I own the car and its in my name

Red 95 GSR = $1650/6 mo.

no points/tickets/accidents $420/6 mos

 

18 yr. old Male, Senior in High School, I own the car, good student = $75 a month (full coverage)
full coverage=$450/6 months

now a year later and with Geico (you can save 15% or more on your insurance)

still alittle steep but im in the tristate area

 

come and live in jersey. our premiums are the highest in the nation, and most insurance companies dont insure people from jersey. i am under my parents plan and they get lots of discounts and i only pay about 2000 a year, but all of my friends with their own policies (im 18years old) pay at least 3500 for even a basic car (like a 4dr accord) ... geico dosent insure NJ either

give me a break. that is liability insurance at best... no way you are independently insured (i.e. not under your parents) AND you have comprehensive that low.

 

i pay 220 a month for insurance im 17 yr old and thats with it under my parents names for insurance..its a bitch

 

I pay for my wife and I, $150/ month for full coverage on my GSR and Tacoma, and storage insurance on my Corrado. My Corrado was the killer on insurance for me even though I was over 25. My GSR was minimal.

 

I pay about 4k a year, its a bitch 7 tickets, 5 pts though, hahaha

 

no tickets, no points(any more), good driver, 23male 98' 142 a month for 6 months.

Wow, most of you are getting raped. I pay 1100 for the year, im 21, and I have tickets.

 

I'm paying $240 a month on a 99 LS.

Thats with (1) 5mph over ticket, and no wrecks. Im 20 and on my own policy. I switch agents though, and they run my license and find out about my other ticket! HEHE! So I'm not complaining!

Mention the name "Acura Integra GSR" in montana and people are like "what the ****?" Which is exactly what the insurance company thinks. It is full coverage not "liability at best" because the car was purchased with a loan which means it HAS to be fully covered. The insurance company hasn't seen my car, cuz if they did my insurance would definitely go up. I'll scan my insurance papers and **** if you people dont believe me.

I pay $325 every month for my 99 GSR and my 94 LS together.
My policy is with Progressive
