Default wipers only work intermittenly

Hello all, looking for a little help with the windshield wipers. I have a 96 Accord EX. When I manually press the switch all the way down (just for one pass) they work fine, but no other speeds work except when I fiddle with the switch for minutes on end then they'll work in the slow, fast positions. I'd say the motor is good, because they do work, but am thinking the switch needs replacing for everything to work as it should. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

I am 99.9% sure your wiper switch is on its way out. Best way to verify if you have a Power Probe is to go to the motor and feed power to the pins on the plug that make the motor work. But as I stated at the start the switch is the bad guy.

Spoonhatch, It was the switch! Thank you so much. Got a used one on Ebay for $30 and installed in 15 minutes. Thanks again.
