Default My Wagons New Tuck Harness

Well I've had a TNS Engine Harness lying around for a while and couldn't get anyone to buy it, lol. I bought it for my 89 SI HAtch, and it wont work in my 90 Wagon DX.
So giving up all hope to raise the extra cash for a New TNS Harness, I decided my old harness was worth more as parts.

Grabbed my Box cutter and went to work! $400.00 harness ripped apart into each individual sensor.

At this point I decided to take it one step further and convert everything to OBD-1, The right way. I always planned on Reffing the OBD-0 LS that's in my Wagon, as a stepping stone to a Reff'ed B20. But I will have so many more tuning abilities as OBD1. Plus my High Compression LS Motor is a B18B1 so reffing will be easier.

I Went to Pick N Pull and cut the ECU Plugs off a 93 DA. The TNS Harness im using is already all new plugs/wires/ecu pins, so all i have to do is run the sensor wires to the correct spots on the New OBD-1 ECU Plugs, Make a Jumper Harness over to the Wagon Body Harness, and i think ill be good to go.

Here is where im running into a Problem. The New Wires im using arnt exactly the Right colors all of the time... This harness was never intended to be ripped apart like i did, lol. Does anybody have a diagram or guid of each Sensor plug and where each wire goes too? I have about half of the plugs done, but the dizzy wires, charging system wires, and a few others im having a problem with.

Was there ever a write up on building your own harness from scratch? lol

Ill have some Pix up tonight, now that i started taking some.

Thanks for all of the help!!

I think what you are asking for is what ECU pin goes to what pin at the sensor?
What exact sensors do you still need to hook up?

The -best- way you can figure this out is to get a Helm's manual and take a look at the electrical diagrams. It will show you all the ECU connection and which sensors get what grounds.
You can also take a look at the ECU pinout if you don't care too much about the grounds http://technet.ff-squad.com/wiring.obd1.htm

I have an ECU Pinout guide, and that's how I got most of my wires done. But they don't tell you which wire is which on each sensor. They only tell you color of wire, not location on sensor. And my Wire colors are not necessarily right.

So I Need a Pin-out for each sensor. Anybody have a Sensor Pin-out guide for an OBD1 LS Motor?

I mainly Need the Dizzy plug wires, the Alternator Wire, TPS MAP, and a 4 wire O2.

Bump?
Anybody know how I would be able to get ahold of a Sensor Plug Pinnout?

Your harness doesn't have the right colors, but the old harness does.
No matter what, you will need to figure what pin on the ECU traces out to what wire on the engine harness.
Then you just need to connect it to proper position on the sensor.

Looking at a stock harness + the Helm's wiring you can figure it out.
TPS stock coloring is supposed to be like this http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k1...wiringplug.jpg
Map sensor is like this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/DSCN0063.jpg

trace those in the Helm's diagrams and viola.

That was basically the plan, and that is how I have already done most of my wires already.

But I need to get ahold of an Obd1 Integra Harness because that's what I am attempting to convert too.

Plus, every harness in pick n pull has had the plugs cut off so far.

So you think the TPS and MAP will be any easier with a teg harness rather than the pics I linked?
You can find the same type of pic for your other sensors.
