Default 92 accord ex spins fires but wont start.

This is totally weird. She ran beautifully, cranked 1st lick like every time, last Thursday night on the way home from work. Pulled in the driveway and shut her down. she hasn't cranked since. she turns over and cylinders fire...but she won't kick over and run. I've replaced the fuel filter, plugs, wires,and the coil,distributor cap and button...her compression is excellent and she has 251K+miles. I checked fuses and can't figure it out. I've seen in other threads that the EGR could be a problem...I don't know...I'm not like congress...I don't have an endless supply of money to throw at a problem.

Any Ideas?
Thanks in Advance,
G

Check for spark, fuel, and air. Figure out which one isn't happening.

My suggestion is to stop throwing money/parts at it and actually try to diagnose the issue. As stated above, the first place to look is in the cylinders themselves, are they getting fuel, air and fire/spark?

You need all three of these to get the bang to run an engine. They also need to be in the proper quantity. If you are missing one of these items from the combustion chamber you can start working your way back from the engine.

Fuel;
Fuel injectors and wiring/ECU
Fuel pressure regulator
Fuel filter
Fuel pump/Main relay/ECU

Fire;
Spark plugs
Plug wires
Distributor Cap
Rotor
Ignitor (ICM)
Coil
Wiring
Sensors (CKP, CYP, TDC & ECT)
Main relay/ECU

Air;
Intake manifold/Vacuum hoses
IAC, FIT valves and IAT sensor
Throttle body
MAP sensor
Intake Tube
Air filter

These lists are just off the top of my head, I may have overlooked something. You usually don't have to go this far into it to find your problem.

mine did this to the previous owner last year, ended up being the fuel pressure regulator, it was getting fuel to the rail, but not through the injectors

That's kind of odd.... The FPR on these engines is down stream of the injectors.

Hey guys,
Thanks Much...I spent $200 dollars replacing what I thought was wrong...and I'm still kicking myself, because it happened before...It was the Main Relay...I talked to a buddy that builds hondas for racing...and he said...check the main relay. I feel sooo stupid... Thanks Guys...I appreciate it

that's what i said, i spend three hours troubleshooting the problem for the previous owner before giving up, she had it towed to a supposedly certified "Honda master tech" (he's always seemed shady to me) and he had it running in half an hour told her it was the FPR.

my guess is that it was the fpr, however for a different reason....it was prolly bad allowing fuel past the vacuum hose, into the im...flooding the motor
