Icon2 Car bogs when pressing gas

I have a 1998 Honda Accord V6 EX (Automatic). The problem is the car will start just fine and idle very smooth and I can rev the car in Park with no problems. If I engage load (Drive, D1-D3, Reverse) the engine bogs down and RPMs go down instead of up. On the other hand if I barely press on the gas the RPMs go up. I tried cleaning the EGR Valve Port but that didn't seem to fix the problem just make it idle even more smooth. I'm at a loss and I miss driving my car so if anyone could please help I would be most grateful.

Ok, I'll bite.

Can we assume that - the tune up items (98 v6 still had cap, rotor, wires - and spark plugs). Also that the IAC has been cleaned.

Last, there wasn't any recent work done to the car before this started?

Sounds like it could be a TPS issue....but without knowing any behind the scenes info, it's just a guess. Did you happen to unplug or loosen your TPS connector while cleaning the ERG?

Did this just happen out of know where or has it progressively gotten worse or was this an issue after you did some maintenance to the engine? Some background info would help in diagnosis......

The incident of the bog came out of nowhere when I went a dealership and test drove a new car.(ironic) I have a new IAC sensor but not a new TPS sensor as of yet. I have new spark plugs but no new wires. I'm planning to get the TPS this week and see if that will fix the issue.

Don't keep throwing parts at this.... unless you want to do a tune up, plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Other than that, there are tests that you can do on the TPS, ignition system and fuel system to try and pin point this issue. It would be more worth your money to buy a manual and some tools then to keep throwing parts at it.

Do you have a shop manual or a multimeter that you can use?

I have the Haynes manual for the vehicle. I do not have a multimeter to check voltage.
