93 Integra GSR DB2 (Front rear) Cross member on EF ???
Hi
I have bad boushing on my 90 EF suspension so working on it as the motor is not in.
I do have all the front end from Integra GSR 93 DB2 model as DA9
The only differance in the 2 cross members is where the table attachment is,
On the Civic cross member the hole to tie the lower table is 1/2 inch lower
They are 2 cross member with power steering
The 2 lower Table from the 2 cars are 15 inches long.
The Integra Knukkle and bering should fit right there.
Top Table is same size and bolt on the same place.
Struth-rods bars are 1 inch shorter on the EF, so i will need to use them on the stock EF front front cross member
- I do have adj suspenssion Coils springs in case...
- I dont want to lower the car to much, 1 inch
- I want to use the Honda stock integra shock
90 Civic EF 4 Doors LX was 2300 pounds
It will end up at 2500 with the B motor, CRV transmission and the equipement.
So my questions are...
Can i Swap the Integra complete suspenssion, Front rear cross member, table and brake on my 90 civic EF ??
And will i have a descent Camber ??
Is car will raise or get lower suspenssion ?
Or if it will fit but on EF stock coils springs ?? ( Cuz stock EF coils should get a bit lower with the add of weight)
Please if you do know about it, help !

The weight difference isn't that much. The motors are slightly forward of the wheels though, so it will affect handling. As far as all the swapping goes, I'm a little unsure what your goal is. The knuckles fit and don't give any issue to my knowledge. I have heard the shocks and springs will fit but it seems like it may be rough. Wouldn't it? Or it may have been a hybrid shock/spring set up. I wouldn't swap the crossmembers. I read about someone trying but I never did see a finished product. Why do you want to swap all this? To make it stronger or just because you have a it?

Ty for your comments
I love the driving from the integra
the civic is usualy verry different
The Civic has been stored outside for a few years, Tables, knukkle and T-rod are not nice

GSR 93 must have been well treated during several years and it is well maintain.
Running out of time i may not try what i want, But Simply try what it take to make the care run...
You can just swap over all of the control arms, knuckles, and trailing arms.
That will actually give you a slightly wider track with more negative static camber at stock height.
No need to swap the crossmember.

And is anybody know the Civic springs rate and Integra springs rate ???
but the cross member from the Teg is raising the table atachement point,
This should get more angle to the table and make it harder to push up as you hit a bump...
It can also keep the lower ball joint clooser from the car so reducing negatif camber ???
then maybe drop it from an inch
if it work like that it will be great
But i dont want to do it if it wont work good.
