So i've delayed this project now for almost 3 years. money, life events have set this project back. Now my concern is what can go bad on a car (1990 crx si) that has been sitting in a drive for about 7 years.i had tarps on it for the most part. my concern if there maybe chassis issues . anyone can give me any insight on this. my assumption is there is no reason for the frame to damaged/eroded/rusted through. I assume i def. have to change the gas tank.
having tarps was a good and bad thing. you wouldn't want it to be exposed to sun and rain all those years. but if the tarps held in moisture, most likely you have rust. just depends on how bad.
also, by sitting up for so long, check the brake lines for dry rot and most likely the bushing have gone stiff. bit those are all wear items so replacing is something that has to happen. if you have mice inside the car, worse thing that can happen is a nice chewed wiring harness

Those are same thoughts i had. but as far as the frame i shouldn't have anything to worry about do I? I have a crashed 06 civic Si that finally I can start tearing down and get a swap ready for the cr-x.
