Problems with the stuff in my trunk getting wet...
I have a 1991 Honda Accord EX, and all the things in my trunk keep getting wet every time it rains. I just had a spoiler put on my car but before I did that I was still having this problem. What could it be? I have sealed up my tail lights with clear silicone. Help me please.
Inspect the trunk gasket. If that doesn't work, get in the trunk with a flashlight while your friend hoses down the outside of the trunk.
also check for holes in your inner wheelwells. I had the same issue and found that I had a small rust hole up above my rear wheel in the fender.
There are two pieces of sheet metal that come together in the wheel well. The outer fender and the inner wheel well. The inner wheel well is basically the trunk panel as well. A lot of times there will be dirt and debris that sits up on top of the wheel well trim that causes the inner wheel well to rust an a hole to form. You then may also start to see your paint bubbling around the wheel well. This is rust that is coming from behind the paint. 9 times out of 10 it is a hole through to the wheel well.
Then when you drive in the rain/wet roads is sprays water up into the trunk through the hole in the inner fender.
There was a little rust on the outside of the wheel well.

and here is how bad it was in behind the wheel well trim

Those holes lead into the trunk and where there is no real divide between the trunk and the rear seat. Some water even got into that area as well.
Hopefully yours is something simple like a seal or the sunroof drains.

i'm having a leak issue in my trunk also. The leak comes from the driver rear, and I think what Ghost posted could be my problem.
