when ever i floor it for more than 2 or 3 seconds, it smells like its burning oil. it does NOT smoke whatsoever. i am getting ready to turbo it. should i rebuild it with new...what? what is needed? new rings? i want it running in good condition before i put the boost to it. what should i do?

Do a compression and leakdown test to determine if you indeed need to do a rebuild. Also look for small leaks...it might be dripping on something hot and burning off.

one thing to add on...to look for small leaks, get the car up on jack stands after it has been sitting for a night and see if there is any fresh oil on parts of the suspension/frame/exhaust.

one thing to add on...to look for small leaks, get the car up on jack stands after it has been sitting for a night and see if there is any fresh oil on parts of the suspension/frame/exhaust.
