Icon2 Honda Orthia ignition problem

Hi, I am new to this forum. I have a 1998 Honda Orthia station wagon. It has a B20B motor. It now has an ignition problem where there is no spark at the plugs. I have checked the fuses and the starter motor turns over fine. The distributor cap is fine (no cracks) and the contacts are o.k, also no oil inside the cap. The rotor seems o.k for its age. However there is no spark at the coil when turning the engine over. The ICM seems to be o.k when testing through the coil (i.e test light flashes at neg terminal). Would I be correct in assuming that the coil needs replacing? Your thoughts/suggestions would help....Ian
